Why is it Lord?

I quite often wonder, Why is it that trials almost always happen in at least threes, but sometimes they last in larger quantities. For example this week during the heavy down pours, in the twenty one years I haved lived in this place I never even had a drop of water in my cellar, but this time I had several inches.

Then to boot one of our trees in our back yard snapped right in half and, not only that ,our front stairs to this place are starting to fall apart. This is an exception to the rule my wife has been extremely sick this week not only with the flu but also with the stomach bug to wrap up the week. It has been a very tough week.

I don't really know Lord what lessons you want me to learn from these experiences but it has certainly been discouraging. I know these things can be taking care of but, they cost money I don't have and I don't have a clue where the finances are going to come from. I am wondering Lord if these things are happening because you want us to leave this place, or is it a test of our faith in you. It is all so confusing.

Lord before I close this blog I want to ask You what is it You want me to do with these circumstances? How should I be handling this? Please show me what it is You want me to do, because Lord I don't have a clue in Jesus's name amen.

I leave this blog with a couple of verses of scipture that I hope, it not only helps me to understand, but others who read this blog that might be going through some kind of trial. I am getting these verses of scripture according to the NASB Bible.

Deuteronomy 8:2

You shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not
Psalm 57:1

Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul takes refuge; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge. Until destruction passes by.

Job 5:19

From six troubles He will deliver you, Even in seven evil will not touch you.
